Helen E. Silac's Obituary
Helen E. Silac (nee Taylor) age 89, of North Ridgeville passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
She was born in Eaton and had been a lifelong area resident.
Helen worked as a cook for the North Ridgeville City Schools for over 25 years before retiring in 1998.
She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul where she was active with the Altar and Rosary Society and the North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling and playing BINGO.
Survivors include her son Alan Silac of North Ridgeville, daughter, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter, son Robert, parents, Robert and Catherine Taylor, sisters, Eleanor Hess, Ruth Frey, Leonarda Rofe, Dorothy Moore, Martha Linden, brothers, Edward, Robert, Lawrence and Ralph Taylor.
Friends may call Sunday from 1-3PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 am at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
