Helen Nemec's Obituary
Helen A. Nemec (nee Ketchesin), age 73, of North Ridgeville, died suddenly Saturday at the home of her daughter in North Ridgeville.
She was born Scranton, PA. She had been a resident of North Ridgeville since moving from Elyria in 1959.
Mrs. Nemec was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Ladies Aux. Of VFW Post 9871, North Ridgeville. She enjoyed playing bingo and flower gardening.
She retired from Thibo Greenhouse in North Ridgeville where she had worked 30 years.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, George C., four daughters, Marianne Martin of North Ridgeville, Gale Hill of Lorain, Karen Sue Nemec of Wakeman and Janet Lowstetter of North Ridgeville, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Tom Ketchesin of Avon and Walter Ketchesin of LaGrange, 2 sisters, Kate Chopick of Dunlo, PA and Mary Kreniski of Euclid.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Ketchesin, two brothers, Mike and Joe Ketchesin and one sister, Ann Sipos.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, Pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
