Helen Bell's Obituary
Helen D. Bell (nee O'Brien), age 77 of Elyria, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain following a long illness.
She was born May 18, 1929 in Kilmarnock, Scotland, having moved to Elyria in 1957.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Peter C., 3 Sons, Peter C. Bell of Wadsworth, George O. Bell of North Olmsted, John S. Bell of Syracuse, NY; one daughter Margaret O. Bell of Elyria; seven grandchildren; and one brother Eric O'Brien of Kilmarnock, Scotland.
She was preceded in death by Parents, Edward and Margaret O'Brien, three brothers, James, Peter and George O'Brien, two sisters, Margaret Brennan and Maude Goudie.
Friends will be received 6-8 PM, Friday, June 2 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road N. Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held 9:30 AM Saturday followed by 10:00 AM Mass at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 590 Poplar Elyria. Rev. Frank Kosem, Pastor will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio .
