Hector Casarez's Obituary
Hector Joseph Casarez, age 55, of North Ridgeville, died Saturday evening at Saint John West Shore Hospital, Westlake, following a long illness.
He was born in Lorain and had just recently moved to North Ridgeville from Cleveland.
He worked as a machine operator at the Oateys Company, Cleveland; for the past 30 years.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening and camping. He was a big fan of the Cleveland Indians and enjoyed watching all the games.
Survivors include his son, Hector Casarez,Jr., of Cleveland; 3 brothers, Alberto, Jr.and Edward Casarez, both of North Ridgeville and Arthur John Casarez, of Birmingham, AL; 8 sisters, Berta Ortiz,living in Georgia, Elvia Webber, of Yuma, AZ, Estelle Marie Leonard, of Davenport, IA, Esperanza Moreno, of Cleveland, Aurora Krasienko, of Sheffield Village, Yolanda Casarez, of Cleveland, Odile Orozco, of Holgate, OH and Elizabeth Casarez, Jr., of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adaberto and Elizabeth S. (Nee Sauceda) Casarez and a sister, Yolandita Casarez.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where prayers will be said at 9:30 AM on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at Saint Julie Billiart Catholic Church 5500 Lear Nagle Rd., North Ridgeville. Burial Will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
