Harvey Welch's Obituary
Harvey Welch, 72, formerly of Cleveland, died Wednesday evening, August 15, 2012 at Ames Family Hospice House, Westlake, following a short illness.
He was born June 27, 1940 in Cincinnati to the late Samuel and Alice (nee Blanton) Welch.
Harvey retired from Avalon Precision in Cleveland. In his free time, he enjoyed watching old western and karate movies. He was also an avid sports fan, especially football and professional wrestling.
He is lovingly survived by his children, Debbie Welch, Columbus, Yolanda Estes, Elyria, Jacquice Harris, North Ridgeville, Tara, Harvell and Lydell Robinson, all of Cincinnati, Jeanette (Daryll) Williams, Tacoma, WA, Gina Harris, Lorain, Rachele and Jamell Holmes, both of Elyria, and Odessa Ward, Cincinnati; caretakers, Juanita and Lewis Beeman, North Ridgeville; brothers, Clark (Patricia) Welch, Maryland and Ed Welch, Cincinnati; sister-in-law, Mary Welch; 25 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Racine Holmes; and three brothers, George, Sr., John "Sonny" and Michael Welch.
Services to celebrate Harvey's home going will be 12 Noon on Monday, August, 20, 2012 at the Full Gospel Faith Fellowship, 1901 North Ridge Road, Lorain, preceded by visitation beginning at 11 AM. Committal rites and burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland. Memorials are suggested to the Kidney Foundation.
