Harry Spradlin's Obituary
Harry E. Spradlin, age 83, of Elyria, passed away at Wesleyan Village following a long illness.
He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio and had been a resident of Elyria since 1977 having moved from N. Ridgeville.
He served in the US Navy during WW II.
Mr. Spradlin was an electrician at the GM Fisher Guide Plant, Elyria, retiring in 1980 after 30 years..
He was a member of Church of The Open Door, Elyria and United Auto Workers Local 780.
He also enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his son, Mark of Elyria; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and dear friends Rene and Linda Truxall of LaPorte.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 1992 and son James in 1995.
Visitation Sunday from 2-4 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville. Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday at Wesleyan Village Chapel, 807 West Avenue, Elyria. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, where the VFW Post 9871 will conduct full military honors.
