Harry Miller's Obituary
Harry R. Miller, age 80, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain.
He was born in Houston, Pennsylvania and lived in North Ridgeville for the past 11 years, moving from Bay Village.
Harry was the Director of Finance for Dreco in North Ridgeville, retiring in 2003, after a long and enjoyable career.
He was a member of Bay Presbyterian Church in Bay Village.
Harry was a gentleman and a gentle man who will be remembered by his family and friends for his courage, kindness and delightful sense of humor.
He enjoyed playing the piano, golf, racquetball, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 60 years, Jane (nee McClure); son, William (Bonnie) of Huron; daughters, Nancy (Ray) Macgregor of Southlake, Texas, Carolyn (Tom) Schleitwiler of Madison, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Nick, Sean, Jordon, Emily and Ben; brothers, Wilbur (Evelyn) of Boca Raton, Florida, Rodney of Canton, Connecticut; sister, Gail (Karl) Quinn of Carnegie, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Betty Miller of Boca Raton, Florida.
He was preceded in death by parents, Harry A. and Esther (nee Reynolds) Miller and brother, Roger Miller.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 11:00AM at David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Dave Reynolds of Bay Presbyterian Church will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to any Parkinson's research organization or a charity of the donor's choice.
