Harriett Krueger's Obituary
Harriett K. Krueger (nee Kern) was born February 22, 1925 in Lakewood, OH
Preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Harold Kern, and uncle, Charles Kern and a brother, Bruce Kern. She is survived by her husband, Alfred of Sebring, OH; her sister, Beverly (Jean) Urban and husband, Harold (Sonny) of Maggie Valley, NC; her children Adam Krueger and his partner Thomas Fenner of Minneapolis, MN and Susanne Mead and her husband, Charles of Alliance, OH; grandchildren Sandra Cadell and husband Wayne of Portsmouth, VA, Elizabeth Bricker and husband Dustin of Marion, IA, Joel Krueger of Cedar Rapids, IA; and great-grandchildren, Zoe, Piper, Michael, and Magena Cadell and Joshua, Lauren, and Ella Bricker.
Living the majority of her life in North Ridgeville, OH Harriett graduated from North Ridgeville High School in 1942 and married Alfred on November 28, 1943. They also lived in Westlake, OH and Fort Myers, FL before moving to Copeland Oaks in Sebring, OH. Harriett was active in the North Ridgeville Womens’ Club since its inception in 1948, the Fireman’s Auxiliary, Lions Club and a proud host-mother to exchange students Gh. Sakhi Barati and Kazumi Sasahara. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church-Elyria, OH, Zion Lutheran Church-Fort Myers, FL and most recently Abiding Savior Lutheran Church-Alliance, OH.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Sunday from 5-7 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 1 PM in the Bennett Chapel at Copeland Oaks, 800 S. 15th St., Sebring, Ohio, 44672. The Reverend Megan Elliott will officiate. Memorial donations to the Copeland Life Care Fund, 800 South 15th Street, Sebring, Ohio, 44672 would be appreciated.
