Gretchen Lund's Obituary
Gretchen E. Lund (nee Dalrymple), age 96 of North Ridgeville, died Saturday, December 30, 2006 at the North Ridge Health Center in North Ridgeville following a long illness.
She was born August 2, 1910 in Bear Lake, NY. She had resided in North Ridgeville the past 61 years having moved from Cleveland.
She was a member of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville and was a former member of the VFW Post 9871 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Lund enjoyed cooking and gardening
Surviving are her sister, Shirley Ann Plas of Cory, PA; six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Ralph C. Lund in 1971, sons LaVerne L. Lund, Charles R. Lund in April of 2006, mother, Mae Bordman, step father, Hank Bordman, and brother, Bernard Dalrymple
Friends will be received Wednesday from 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home with Reverend Neriah Edwards, Pastor of Fields United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
