Gregory Francis Dent's Obituary
Gregory Francis Dent, age 68, of Buford, GA, passed away July 21, 2022. He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Buford for over 30 years. He graduated from Elyria Catholic High school in 1972 and was self-employed as an Agronomist-Project Manager. He was responsible for the construction of the Olympic stadium infield and the complete construction of the Olympic Equestrian venue for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. He is survived by his children Nathan Dent of FL., Ashlyn Dent of Atlanta, GA; siblings Dale (Laura) Dent of Avon, Allan (Linda) Dent of Avon; many nieces and nephews; Greg was preceded in death by his parents Allan and Bernice Dent. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 am Friday, September 9, 2022, at St. Peter Cemetery, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
