gHI first met Gloria when she was my father's fiancé. She was amiable and welcoming, and seemed pleased to meet Howard's blood daughter, her husband and the 2 grand children who lived in Australia and from his first marriage in 1943. Gloria was always gracious and kind, to all of us, and I enjoyed getting to know her in subsequent visits overseas. She was a good fit for Howard, and she tirelessly looked after him in his last year's. I am grateful to her for this, and for being able to feel close to 'Mum'. Faretheewell Gloria.
