Glenna Bailey's Obituary
Glenna "Jo" Bailey (nee Davis), age 66, of Eaton Township, passed away Friday, February 23, 2007, at her home following a long illness.
Born in Bancroft, West Virginia she was a resident of Eaton Township for the past 40 years.
She worked as a welder for Oatey Company in Cleveland for 25 years, retiring in 2000.
She attended Christian Unity Church in Eaton Township. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and helping other people. She was also a Browns football fan.
Survivors include her husband, John; son John II of Eaton Twp.; daughters, Mishia Bailey and Deborah Dorsey both of Eaton Twp.; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Preston Davis of Cocoa, Florida; sisters, Louise Wick of Hurricane, West Virginia, Juanita Johns of Cross Lanes, West Virginia.. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Wade; parents, Preston and Thelma Davis and uncle, Duke Carney. Friends may call Monday from 3-5 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Rev. Denver Daniel, Pastor of Christian Unity Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Hospice, 3700 Kolbe Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
