Glenn Earl Rager's Obituary
Glenn Earl Rager, age 80, of Lorain, passed away on February 11, 2024 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
He was born on February 26, 1943, in Lancaster, New York and was a resident of Lorain for the past 20 years, moving from Brook Park. Glenn was a U.S. Navy Veteran and went on to work as a copier and typewriter repairman for Royal Business Equipment, retiring in 1996. He was also a member of the Lake Erie Landlord Association.
He enjoyed fishing, doing projects around his house and going to Florida during the winter. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and was a fixture at their sporting events.
He is survived by his wife Janice (nee Wagner); daughter, Susan (Bob Dering-deceased) Rager of North Ridgeville; son, Christopher Glenn (Amber) Rager of Huron; grandchildren, Nicholas, Lucas and Marcus Rager of Huron and Caroline Dering of North Ridgeville; sisters, Barbara (Larry) Hutton and Ann (Dennis) Dolansky; sisters-in-law, Judy Rager and Lois Wertz; many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his father, William F. Rager; mother, Lula E. Rager-Cramer; brothers, Larry (Dora), Richard and Clifford Rager; sister, Connie Baughman.
Friends may call Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 4-7PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate.
Burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville.
