Glee A. Cousino's Obituary
Glee A. Cousino, age 69, of Elyria, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 27, 1948 in Toledo and had been a longtime resident of North Ridgeville before moving to Rocky River and Elyria. Glee worked as a teacher for 12 years at the Urban Community School in Cleveland, and had also worked as a social worker for many years.
Teaching was her true passion in life and what Glee enjoyed most. In her spare time, she was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.
Glee is survived by her siblings Linda (Tim) Grambley of CO, Michael (Kathy) Cousino of S.C., Chris (Larry) Dunham of North Ridgeville, Jeff (Donna) Cousino of MS, Kim MacRae of VA and David (Marry) Cousino of KY; 13 nieces and nephews; 7 great nieces and nephews; 2 great great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents Olin and Shirley (nee Brown) Cousino.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, June 19 at 8:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Sister Martha Owen will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Glee's name to the Urban Community School Learning Garden, 4909 Lorain Ave., Cleveland 44102.
