Gladys E. Barnett's Obituary
Gladys E. Barnett, (nee Peters) age 87 of Elyria passed away peacefully at UH Elyria Medical Center on Friday, January 12, 2018.
Born in Chesapeake, WV, she had resided in Elyria since 1983, after moving from Georgia.
She was formerly a member of Calvary Apostolic Church, Elyria.
An accomplished pianist, she enjoyed playing the piano and singing gospel music. She also enjoyed recording her life memories in her journal, leaving a lasting gift to her family.
Surviving are her son David Barnett, daughter-in-law Lisa Barnett of Elyria, grandchildren, Miranda, Linda, Randy L. II, Summer Lee Barnett and Andy Ramos, great-grandchild, Dominique Carment and Adalynn Boatright.
She was preceded in death by her Husband James R. Barnett, son, Randy Barnett, Parents, William Ernest and Bessie Louise Peters, and her brothers Herbert Dempsey Peters and Robert O. Peters.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4-7 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where services will be held 10 AM Tuesday. Brother Syd Orr will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
