Gertrude Jansheski's Obituary
Gertrude M. "Trudy" Jansheski (nee Binette), age 86, of Elyria died Wednesday in Beavercreek, Ohio while visiting family following a short illness.
She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She had been a resident of Elyira the past 40 years moving from North Ridgeville.
Mrs. Jansheski served in the US Navy Waves during WW II.
She retired from EMH Regional Medical Center in 2001 where she worked in registation for 29 years.
She is a former member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville.
Mrs. Jansheski enjoyed camping and traveling.
She is survived by her son, Dean (Bonnie) Jansheski of Beavercreek, Ohio, two grandsons, one niece and one sister, Margaret Anderson of Trumble, Connecicut.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 1999, her parents, Emile and Evelyn Binette and one infant son.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held 9:00 AM Saturday followed by 9:30 AM Mass at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, Pastor will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
