Nanci-
I'm not sure you will remember me - but I remember you. I was saddened to read of your Mothers' death in the Plain Dealer. I remember her when we were in high school, and years after. Do you remember our Florida trip in your Mom's car - what was it ? --- 1974? I hope your life is a good one, and I am sorry for your loss. Take care and be happy. Again, my condolences to you and yours. I have thought of you often over the years and am so sorry we lost touch with each other. I wish you peace as you deal with the loss of your Mother.

My last time with my grandma was the best. I watched over her for a couple years when no one was home to watch her. The last time I watched her, she grabbed my hand multiple times and kissed it and would repeatedly say "don't leave me, don't leave me." I of course replied "I'm not going anywhere grandma. I'm right here for you." She asked me to pull up a chair so that I could sit next to her bed and hold her hand while she slept. She held my hand for about two hours and kissed it about every five mintutes. It was so moving, and I realized that this was going to be one of the last times I got to share with her. I took a mental note about how amazing this situation really was, and I couldn't have been luckier to have spent the time with her. This is the way I will remember her, and the way I cherish that moment with my grandma. I am so blessed to be able to have that moment.

Although I didn't have the pleasure of meeting you, if you were anything like your daughter Nanci, I KNOW I would have loved you. You did an amazing job raising her. She spoke so highly of you and loved you so much.
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you feel God's loving arms embracing each you in this time of sorrow. Your Mom is in a much better place where there is no room for pain, discomfort, or sadness.

I enjoyed the times we had together when you would come and visit our house on Clearcreek :)... and i will never forget the one Christmas Eve we spent over at Aunt Teri's (years and years ago.. i can't remember how old we were)... but we all at dinner and had a great time together as a family. I hope you find peace... and you and Grandpa are hanging out in peace and love :)
