Geraldine Blankenship's Obituary
Geraldine B. "Gerri" Blankenship (nee Swihart), 65, of Payson, AZ died at her home in Payson on Sunday, January 6, 2008; following a long illness.
She was born in Cleveland and had lived in Elyria.
She worked for many years as a sales clerk for Goodwill Industries.
She enjoyed traveling, visiting family, shopping and spending time with her sister in Arizona.
She is survived by her children, Annette (Dennis) Schmunk, of Kaw City, OK, David (Michelle) Blankenship, of Choctaw, OK and Aaron Blankenship, of Bedford; three grandchildren, Brittany, Andrea and Jarod Blankenship, all of Choctaw, OK; sister, Irene Fleegle, of Payson, AZ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Blankenship; parents, Benjamin and Florence (nee Garvey) Swihart; and three sisters.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville; where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Pastor Jack Beaver of the Cleveland Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
