Georgia M. Austin's Obituary
Georgia M. Austin (nee Zwiezinski), age 84 of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday November 17, 2020 at O’Neill Health Care, North Ridgeville.
She was born in Berea and had resided in North Ridgeville the past 82 years.
Mrs. Austin was a longtime member of Fields United Methodist Church where she had been active with the Hand Bell and Vocal Choirs, United Methodist Women and Young at Heart Club.
Mrs. Austin was a baker for North Ridgeville City School, retiring in 1991 after 25 years. One of her favorite pastimes was following her grandchildren’s activities.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Dale, two daughters, Cindy (Scott) Snyder of Amherst, Amy Austin of Florida, son, Martin (Patricia) Austin of North Ridgeville, four grandchildren, Ryan (Alicja) Auner, Andrew Auner, Matthew (Shannon) Austin and Marissa Austin, brother Garron (Sherry) Zwiezinski of Elyria; stepsisters Beverly Whitsel of Valley City and Regina Tyree of Elyria; brother-in-law Ray Grega of North Ridgeville.
She was preceded in death by her son Gregg Austin; father, George J. Zwiezinski, mother, Ruth A. Zwiezinski-Sawyers, stepmother, Manoka Zwiezinski, sisters, Mary Ramsey, Lillie Isaac, May Milner and Dorothy Grega.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Fields United Methodist Church, 34077 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Dr. Tom Joyce will officiate.
