George Tabor's Obituary
George E. Tabor Sr., age 70, of North Ridgeville passed away August 22 at St. John West Shore Hospital, Westlake, following a long illness.
Born in Crab Orchard, Tennessee, he was a resident of North Ridgeville for over 50 years.
Mr. Tabor worked as a building inspector for the city of North Ridgeville for many years.
He was an active member of North Ridgeville Church of God and a former member of Masonic Lodge in Westlake.
He enjoyed gardening and family cookouts.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Denise (nee Stopa); sons, George Jr. Of Lorain , Christopher of North Ridgeville; two grandchildren; brother, Danny Goss of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Dixie Tabor and Elizabeth Goss; sister, Linda Adams; brothers, Donald Tabor, Claude "Dickie" Tabor, James Goss Jr.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Bishop J. Rick Noel, Pastor of North Ridgeville Church of God will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
