George Robert Kimble's Obituary
George Robert Kimble, age 68, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Webster Springs, West Virginia and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 64 years.
George honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He owned and operated Kimble Construction for 35 years before retiring in 2016. He also owned and operated Center Ridge Storage from 1997 to the present.
He was a member of the VFW Post 7647 in North Olmsted.
George enjoyed traveling, gardening and loved to spend time with his grandchildren, attending every event that they were involved in.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Barbara (nee McMillen); daughter, Heather (Jonathan) Kaesgen of North Ridgeville; son, Shawn (Selena) Kimble of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Parker and George Hayden Kaesgen, Alessandra and Gavin Kimble; four brothers and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Luther and Lena I. (nee Marco) Kimble; a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11AM in the funeral home.
Rev. Stephen Long, George’s nephew, will officiate.
Burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
