George James' Obituary
George W. James, 65 of North Ridgeville passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at The Renaissance, Olmsted Township following a brief illness. He was born July 21, 1944 in Lakewood, OH and had been a lifelong North Ridgeville resident. He was a heavy machine operator and had worked for Midview Xcavating in North Ridgeville. George was a member of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville. He was a lifelong member of Laborer's Union #860 and enjoyed fishing, working around the house and tinkering with electronics. He was a "Trekkie" enjoying episodes of Star Trek on television. George cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his loving wife and lifelong sweetheart, Ann (nee Rusaw), a son, Corey Duncan of North Ridgeville, daughters, Tracy (Kevin) Hammond of Willoughby and Betsy Beach of Eastlake, 3 grandchildren, DeAnna and Cassandra Cappelli and Hunter Block-Beach and 3 sisters, Georgia (Richard) Sullinger of North Ridgeville, Doris Rusaw of Spring Hill, FL and Gerry (Don) Bislick of Holiday, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise (Comrie) and George W. James. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, July 23, 2010 at Fields United Methodist Church 34077 Lorain Rd., North Ridgeville where friends will be received from 10 A.M. until service time. Burial will follow in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville. Memorial contributions are suggested to "Deafness Research Foundation" for Meniere's Disease Research 641 Lexington Ave. New York, NY 10022-4503.
