"Genny" Lampe-Mathis' Obituary
Genevieve "Genny" E. Lampe-Mathis (nee Ohlson), age 92, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Northridge Health Center.
She was born in Billerica, Massachusetts and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1997 moving from Cuyahoga Falls.
Genny was the co-owner and operator of Stowaway Drive-in Restaurant located in Stow for 27 years before retiring in 1973.
She was a member of Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville.
She enjoyed reading, knitting and teaching dancing lessons.
Survivors include her son, Gregory (Marleen) Lampe of Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter, Diane (Nickolas) Modock of North Ridgeville; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William "Fred" Lampe; 2nd husband, Clay Mathis; brother, Harry "Bud" Ohlson; parents, Harry and Jennie Ohlson.
Friends may call Saturday from 9 AM until the time of Memorial Service at 10 AM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Dr. Tom Joyce will officiate.
Private burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Cuyahoga Falls.
