Gayle Wilcox's Obituary
Gayle V. Wilcox (nee Cardillo), 55, of Bay Village, died Friday morning at New Life Hospice Center, Lorain; following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Utica, NY and had lived in Bay Village since 1989; having moved from North Ridgeville. Previously she had lived in Rome, NY.
She was a secretary for Saint Peter School, North Ridgeville from 1989 until 1998 . She also had worked as a teacher's aid.
Mrs. Wilcox was a member of Saint Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville.
She enjoyed interior decorating and volunteering as a care giver at the Moll Cancer Center.
She is survived by her husband, Don Wilcox; son, Douglas Beach, of North Ridgeville; parents, Victor Cardillo, of Vernon, NY and Yolanda Amann and stepfather Walter Amann, both of Rome, NY; sister, Janice Cardillo and brother, Todd Harmon, both of Rome, NY.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend David Durkee, pastor of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Uniontown will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville
