Gary B. Reis' Obituary
Gary B. Reis, age 76, of North Ridgeville, passed away, Monday, February 28, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Aliquippa, PA and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1992 moving from Rocky River. He was a 1963 graduate of Rocky River High School. He was a supervisor for LTV Steel before retiring in 1997. Gary was a member of NHRA and IHRA and enjoyed racing and working on cars. He was kind to everyone he met and loved his dogs. He is survived by his wife Nancy (nee Ransburg); children John Paul Reis of Cleveland, Lynne (Michael) Campbell of Stuart, FL., Amy Beth (Matthew House) Reis of Birmingham, AL., Julie Jane Frances (Brad) Phillips of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Connor, Kate, Patrick, Ryan; sister-in-law Dineen (Jim) Wiemels; brother-in-law Ted (Cheryl) Ransburg of Toledo; nieces Ashley and Kate; many relatives in southern Ohio; He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Frances Reis. Family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kidney Foundation www.kfohio.org.
