Gary W. Howell Sr's Obituary
Gary W. Howell Sr., age 71, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center.
He was born in Stickney, West Virginia and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1983 moving from Cleveland.
He served in the US Army and worked in production planning for LTV Steel until 2001. He then went on to work at Staples for 8 years before retiring.
Gary enjoyed watching sports, especially his grandsons playing football and baseball. He was proud of all his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Nancy (nee Garver), children, Christina (Ralph) James of Elyria, Carrie (Brian) Uszak of Elyria, Gary (Terri) Howell Jr. of North Ridgeville, grandchildren, Garrett, Bryce, Caleigh, Andrew and Ashley, siblings, Roseann Ferrell, Loretta Allen, David (Loretta) Howell, aunt, Libby Harris, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raybert and Margaret (nee Santo) Howell, brother, Billy Howell.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Monday at 11am in the funeral home, and will be live streamed on the funeral home Facebook page. Masks are required. Pastor Alan Jenkins will officiate.
Burial will be at Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
