Gary Robert Dunn's Obituary
Gary R. Dunn, age 70, of Elyria passed away Monday July 5, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic, Avon.
He was born in Toledo and had resided most of his life in Lorain County. Gary was a 1969 graduate of St. John's High School. In 1973, he graduated from John Carroll University. He received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Toledo. He worked in telecommunications for AT&T until retiring in 2018.
He enjoyed reading, history, and sports especially Notre Dame football and his Cleveland Browns. However, nothing made him prouder than hearing about the successes of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children Carrie (Greg) Atkinson, Daniel (Mariah) Dunn, Colleen Penick, Christy (Jason) Miller, grandchildren Lexi, Camryn, Ally, Jaxon, Kyle, Brady, Chase, Rylee, and his mother Anna Rose Dunn.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Dunn.
A public visitation will be held Thursday July 8th, 2021, at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville from 9:30 AM until time of closing prayers at 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville. Rev. Joseph Robinson will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
