Gary G. Dill's Obituary
Gary G. Dill, age 78, of North Olmsted, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
He was born in Detroit, MI and had been a resident of North Olmsted since 1964, moving from Lakewood.
Gary worked as a sales engineer for Midland Steel Products in Cleveland for over 30 years, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of the Return to Golf Program and the Ohio Central Basin Steelheaders.
Mr. Dill was an avid fisherman and golfer.
Survivors include his wife, Carol (nee Bardsley); children, Renee (Joseph) Thomas of Hinckley, Gary (Nicole) Dill of Chapin, South Carolina, Denise Sherman of North Olmsted; grandchildren, Kyle and Chad (Christine) Petersen, Aubrianna and Isabella Dill, Jennifer and Jessica Sherman; sister, Beverly (James “Buddy”) Gammalo of Stockbridge, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Dill; mother, Charlotte Tichy; sister, Carol Dill-Widdows; step-father, Ladd Tichy.
