Gary D. Davis Sr's Obituary
Gary D. Davis Sr., age 74, of Grafton, passed away peacefully Friday, June 25, 2021, at his home surrounded by his children. He was born in Anderson, AL and had spent most of his life in the Cleveland area. He worked as a truck driver for Ford Motor Company before retiring after 42 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps and attended Harvest Ridge Church. Gary enjoyed fishing, riding his bike, woodworking, and watching Alabama football, but mostly spending time with his family. “Semper Fi and Roll Tide!”. He is survived by his children Gary (Kelly) Davis Jr. of Wellington; Kelly (Greg) Beursken of Grafton; Clint “Bo” Davis of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren Brandon (Kayla), Alyssa (Dan), Amanda (Bryan), Amber (Chaz); great-grandchildren Owen, Vladimir, Kyle, Braelyn, Hunter, Dahlia, and Braxton (on the way); brothers Ted (Ruth) Davis of Tucson, AZ; Carlos (Danielle) Davis of Pinson, AL, sister-in-law Linda Davis of Columbia Station; aunt Virginia Dillon of Lexington, AL; step-children Gretchen (Kevin) Wysocki and family, Kirsten (Josh)Wall and family; many nieces, nephews and cousins; he was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne; parents Euel and Viva Lee(Cates) Davis; brother Ricky Davis. Family will receive friends Monday, June 28, 2021, from 5-8 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Service Tuesday in the funeral home at 11 am. Pastor Bill Mullins will officiate. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes.
