Garth Lambert's Obituary
Garth P. Lambert, age 74, of North Ridgeville passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at St. John Westshore Hospital, Westlake.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 25 years moving from Chicago.
Mr. Lambert served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He worked as a Computer Systems Analyst for Moen, Elyria, OH until 1992 at which time he became a self employed computer consultant. He also authored and published three novels and his autobiography.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, writing, reading, designing websites and writing computer programs.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Alyce (nee Rausch); two sons, James of Cuyahoga Falls and Michael (Angel) of Vermilion; a daughter, Kathy (Sam) Brackett of New London and seven grandchildren, Ben, Michelle, Ryan, David, Seth, Jonah and Nathanael.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel in 1985.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Friday, April 24, 2009 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Pastor Mike Plog will officiate.
Burial will follow at Ridgeville Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
