Gala Riffle's Obituary
Gala M. Riffle (nee Brown), age 85 Elyria, OH, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, following a long illness.
She was born July 10, 1918 in Little Birch, WV. She had been a resident of Elyria since 1955, moving from Bays, WV.
She attended Faith Baptist Temple in North Ridgeville.
Mrs. Riffle enjoyed making quilts, crocheting, ceramica and gardening.
She is survived by one Son, John Riffle Jr. of Elyria, one Daughter, Janet Sabo of Elyria; five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and one Sister, Goldie Wilson of Bays, WV.
She was preceded in death by Husband, John Riffle Sr. in 1997, two sons, Charles in 1947 and James in 1993, two daughters, Grace Riffle and Gloria Dahl in 1999, Grandson, Kenneth Dahl in 2000, and father, John and mother, Leona Brown in 1973.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9, Sunday, at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville, OH.
Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio .
