G. Stanley Masny's Obituary
G. Stanley Masny, age 55, of Lorain passed away Friday October 10, 2014 at his home.
He was born in Elyria. He had resided in Lorain the past three years after moving from Denver. He previously lived in Germany. He graduated from Elyria Catholic High School and attended The Ohio State University.
Stanley proudly served four years in the US Marines until being honorably discharged in 1987.
He was an avid marksman and also enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife Vera of Germany, brothers, Robert A. (Joann) Masny of N. Ridgeville, F. Joseph Masny of Olmsted Falls, Michael D. Masny of Aurora, CO, sisters, Althea (Bob) Howe of Larchmont, NY and Jennifer (Ken) Masny-Bushman of New Carlisle., nieces Megan Masny and Colleen Bittner, nephew Nick Masny and dear friend Wendy Stinnett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dorothy and his brother Nicholas Masny.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10 AM Saturday October 18, 2014 at St. Peter Church, North Ridgeville with Reverend Robert Franco, Pastor as the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
