Frank Masny's Obituary
Frank J. Masny, age 90 of North Ridgeville, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 at North Ridge Health Center, North Ridgeville following a short illness.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He had resided in North Ridgeville the past 57 years having moved from Berea.
Mr. Masny was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a Life member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7970, North Ridgeville.
He served in the US Army during WW II.
He graduated from Finn College with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a long time active member of Lambda Iota Delta faternity.
Mr. Masny retired in 1978 after 43 years with Ohio Bell Telephone Company where he worked as a supervisor. He was past president of the Ohio Credit Union League, and a member of the Pioneers of Ohio Bell retirement group.
His hobbies included Bee Keeping, Gardening and taking care of his animals.
Surviving are 4 Sons, Robin Masny of North Ridgeville, F. Joseph Masny of North Ridgeville, Michael Masny of Aurora, CO, G. Stanley Masny of Germany; 2 daughters, Althea Howe of Larchmont, NY and Jennifer Masny-Bushman of New Carlisle, Ohio, and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and his caregivers Wendy and Lee Tague of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by wife Dorothy in 2002, son Nicholas Masny in 1983, Parents, Alois and Aloise Masny, sisters, Lillian Kovach, Rosemary Masny, Mildred Klepetko, and Mary Masny.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Rev. Stephen Kaminski, Pastor will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery.
