Frank Bober's Obituary
Frank K. Bober, age 91, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday at the Northridge Health Center, North Ridgeville following a short illness.
He was born in Alpena, Michigan and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for over 60 years having moved from Lagrange.
Mr. Bober worked as a superintendent for the street department for the Lorain County Engineers retiring in 1978 after 16 years of service. He previously was a bus driver, volunteer fireman and street superintendent for the city of North Ridgeville.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville.
He enjoyed farming, horses, camping using his covered wagon and horse pulls.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Cecelia (nee Rokita); sons, Frank of Ravenna, John of Wakeman, James of Wichita Falls, Texas; daughters, Lucille Spicer of Sarasota, Florida, Sandra Wolfkill of St. Paris, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Otillie Bober, brothers, Harry, Ben, and Tony Bober; sisters, Mary Frankoviak, Helen Mahon and Ann Vargo.
Friends may call Thursday from 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where prayers services will be held on Friday at 9:30AM followed by a 10:00AM Mass at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, Pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
