Frank W. Banaska's Obituary
Frank W. Banaska, age 83 of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his home.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he had resided in North Ridgeville since 1978 after moving from Lorain.
He served in the US Army from 1953-1955.
He worked as a Glass Setter for Ford Motor Company at the Lorain Assembly Plant retiring in 1989 after 30 years. He was a member of UAW Local 425.
He enjoyed working on cars and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan.
Survivors include his four daughters, Esther Todd of Savannah, TN, Grace Helms of North Ridgeville, Cathy Lance of North Ridgeville, Ramona (Bob) Smith of Lorain, two sons, James (Connie) Banaska of LaGrange Township, George (Angel) Banaska of Lorain, 17 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, brother, George Banaska of Vermilion.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie in 2015, son Ernie in 2016, parents, John and Katherine Banaska; brother, Robert Banaska in 2015.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held Thursday at 10AM in the funeral home. Pastor James Barta will officiate.
Interment will be on Thursday at 1:30PM in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
