Yvonne and all, Remembering wonderful times at "canasta" parties at your home with your Mom providing refreshments for a fun time! {Lincoln School group} She was a part of Zion's family for so many years up until she moved to be closer to you all. Miss her sitting in the first pew, always dressed prettily and smiling. We miss her!
To all of Nannie's family - Jill brought Nannie into our lives a few years back and all it took was one good Nannie story to fall in love with her. We took her to see the Nutcracker at the Palace in Columbus and all 4 feet of her sat behind a tall man, when asked if she could see, her reply was "All I can see is a bald head" Needless to say we all laughed very hard when the man turned around and said it was ok. We will miss her. Needless to say, she was a very special little lady.
I would like to send our deepest sympathies to your family. I hope the thought in Revelation 21:4 will be of comfort to you.
Friends--
We send lots of love, prayers, and deep spiritual joy in reflecting on the long and meaningful life of your mother and grandmother. It was such a privilege to meet her several times when we lived in Lakewood. How truly she has blessed you for so many years, and your loss is so large. May you receive hope and peace in reflecting on the resurrection of Christ! "Now faith, hope, and love abide, these three. But the greatest of these is love."
We send our love and hugs to all to everyone there. Nanie lived such a full and wonderful life and it is to be celebrated! Know we plan to have a miller lite and dance (maybe not on the table) in celebration of her life.
We shared so many laughs and precious times with Nanie, mostly at our Wichita home, playing cards, making coffee cake, gravey and time in worship of our Savior! Everytime we sign "how great thou art" we think of Nanie and smile big time!
Dear Kimberly, Steve, Emily and Jon--
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord's face shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord's countenance be lifted up upon you and grant you peace, now and always. We will give prayers of thanks tomorrow during your mother's service and will ask God to give you everything you need in these difficult days. We think of you so often and miss you so much.
Howard
Our deepest sympathies to all of you. We never met Nanie but can see her bright spirit in her eyes in the photo. All our love.
We will continue to lift up in prayer all who Nanie's left behind. We will pray for strength, courage and peace to guide Nanie's families through these difficult days. We will miss her. We know she's singing our Lord's praises and worshipping at His throne - praise God! Let us continue to celebrate her wonderful life, the amazing journey she shared with us, and try not to dwell on her passing. Nanie's been saved through the love of Christ on the cross and so are we. Our redeemer lives and our hope is in Him and Him alone. Let us all continue to lean on His mercy, love and grace today and for eternity.
To all of Nanie's family, I extend my love and condolences on her passing. She was a very special lady and loved life. She will be greatly missed but we look forward to seeing her when we all get to Heaven. Be comforted in the knowledge that she now has 20-20 eyesight, no aches nor pains, no tears, but only rejoicing in her new surroundings! Love and sympathy to all,
Love in Christ, Norma Bobbitt
