Frances Taylor's Obituary
Frances W. Taylor (nee Webb), age 89, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday at Center Ridge Nursing Home following a long illness.
She was born in Washington D.C. and had been a resident of North Ridgeville the past 15 years moving from Plain City, Utah.
She earned her Master's Degree from the University of Rhode Island. She became a social worker for the state of Rhode Island.
She was a member of the American Association of University Women and was founder of the Summit Club which was an organization to assist the disabled. Because of her work with this club, Rhode Island Governor Frank Licht Proclaimed June 27, 1970 as Frances W. Taylor Day in her honor.
She also enjoyed arts and crafts.
Survivors include her sons Dan of North Ridgeville, Timothy of Corvallis, Oregon; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rolla in 1991 and brother Bill Webb.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7:00 PM until time of services at 8:00 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Further services and burial will take place in Ogden, Uath.
