Frances Ann Stursa's Obituary
Frances Ann Stursa (nee Luczkowski), age 87, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at University Hospital in Elyria.
She was born in Lorain and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for 59 years and has lived in Sheffield Lake for the past 3 years.
Frances was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, listening to Elvis, watching baseball, especially the Guardians, flower gardening and jigsaw puzzles. Later in life, she liked to play hide and seek with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her son Scott Stursa of North Ridgeville, daughter, Robin Stursa of Sheffield Lake, granddaughter, Karly (Zachary) Klaiber, bonus granddaughter, Hailey (William) Freeman, 5 great-grandchildren, twin brother, Frank Luczkowski and her wonderful neighbors, Sheila and Ed Merhar.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, parents, Joseph and Ann Luczkowski, sister-in-law, Annie Luczkowski, brothers, Stanley and Chester Luczkowski.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 9:30AM followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. Fr. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
