Floyd Zweigoron's Obituary
Floyd H. Zweigoron, age 88, of North Ridgeville, OH, passed away peacefully at his home Thursday November 27, 2025.
Born in Chicago where he had lived most of his life until retiring to Floridia. He then moved to the Cleveland, OH area nine years ago to be close to his daughter.
He owned and operated Floyd’s Heating and Air Conditioning in Homewood, IL for over 20 years, retiring in 2006.
Floyd was a lover of animals and had a menagerie of pets that kept him busy. He also enjoyed tools and working with his hands, building model ships, animal cages and creating a plethora of motorized contraptions in his home. A car and motorcycle enthusiast, he bought, sold and worked on numerous vehicles during his time in Ohio.
He is survived by his daughter Lauren (Brian) South of Avon, OH, son Jordan (Meilan) Zweigoron of Atascadero, CA, grandchildren Zachary and Matthew South and Jana and Hali Zweigoron along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Cindy, Parents Jules and Rose Zweigoron, sisters Vivian Garland and Dona Meilach and brother Seymour Zweigoron.
There will be a private, intimate gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life.
