Florence Sadler's Obituary
Florence L. Sadler (nee Lewis), age 92, of Elyria passed away Sunday July 28, 2013 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home following a long illness.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY and had resided most of her life in Roslyn Heights, NY before moving to Elyria in 2006.
Mrs. Sadler was a school secretary in Green Vale, NY for 31 years, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of the Congregational Church of Manhasset, NY
Her hobbies included reading, traveling and was an animal lover.
Survivors include her daughter Hilary Janowicz of Elyria; four grandchildren; daughter- in- law, Roberta Sadler of Calimesa, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1976; son, Richard in September 2011; grandson, Michael Janowicz; sisters, Ethel Francis and Irene Lewis; parents, Alva and Edna Lewis
Private services will be held in Long Island, New York.
Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery, Long Island.
