Felix Forman's Obituary
Felix R. Forman, age 58, of North Ridgeville, died Friday evening at his home following a long illness.
He was born in Houghton Lake Heights, MI and had been a resident of North Ridgeville the past 10 years; having moved from Bay Village.
He served in the US Marine Corp.
He served as a police officer in the Bay Village Police Department, for 30 years; before his retirement in 2002.
Mr. Forman was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, North Ridgeville. He also was a member of the FOP and the VFW of Bay Village.
He enjoyed motorcycling and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Sheila (nee Finn) Forman; daughter, Rita Forman, of North Olmsted; sons, Philip Forman, of Cleveland, Kevin Henely, of Cleveland, Matthew Henely, of Lakewood and Aaron (Nicole) Henely, of Grafton; three grandchildren; brother, Frederic Forman, of Niles, OH and sister, Pauline Creutzburg, of Valparaiso, IN.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Steven Forman in 1968 and his parents, Gertrude (nee O'Rouke) and Felix R. Forman.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where prayers will be said at 11:30 AM on Wednesday. The Funeral Mass will follow at 12 Noon at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend Doctor Richard Gonser, pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Avon.
The Bay Village Police Department will provide an Honor Guard and Escort.
