Evon Beckett's Obituary
Evon Beckett (nee Taylor), age 84, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at Rae-Ann Westlake. She was born in Mayking, KY and had been a resident of Olmsted Falls and North Ridgeville since 1956. She was a homemaker and member of The LaGrange Church of God. She volunteered for many services at church, and at Avon Oaks Nursing Home for over 20 years. Evon enjoyed traveling and visiting different parts of the country, making holiday candy at Christmas and Easter, but mostly spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who were a joy to her. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Doug; sons David (Anne) Beckett of Fort Wayne, James D. (Carol) Beckett of Medina; grandchildren Robert (Lynn), James Andrew, Matthew (Nichole), Elizabeth (Joshua); great-grandchildren Madison, Harper, Hunter, Eleanor, Philip, Thomas, Hannah; siblings James (Sandy) Taylor, Carlene Hall, Greta Joseph, Eddie (Nelda) Taylor; she was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Daisy Taylor; brother Larry Taylor. Visitation and service will be private but will be livestreamed on the Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1:45pm. Pastor Danny Wright will officiate. Private burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Memorial contributions can be made to the LaGrange Church of God, 502 N. Center St., LaGrange, OH 44050.
