Evelyn C. Williams' Obituary
Evelyn C. Williams (nee Maddock), age 81, of Avon, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve in Westlake.
She was born in Columbia Station, raised her family in Berea before moving to Avon in 2000.
Evelyn was the owner of The Trolley Station in Port Clinton in the 1980’s and 1990’s where she enjoyed sharing local history and running the gift shop. She also loved boating on Lake Erie.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Avon.
Survivors include her children, Robert (Maggie) Stovicek of Santa Maria, California, Gene (Kristen) Stovicek of Westlake, Laurie Stovicek of Cartersville, Nevada, Susan Capiccioni of Grafton, Janet (Nick) Cozzarin of Brook Park, Raymond (Lisa) Stovicek of North Ridgeville; stepsons, John Williams of Leesburg, Texas and David Williams of Avon Lake; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Traut of North Ridgeville, Helen Fisher of Wautoma, Wisconsin, Yvonne Bott of Vermilion and Carol Blaser of North Ridgeville.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Stovicek; second husband, John Williams (2006); son, Donald Stovicek; parents, Andrew and Anna (nee Fox) Maddock; brothers, Ernest, John, Greg, Joseph, Andrew, George, and Harold Sr.; sisters, Anna Taras and Dolores Yeager.
Friends may call Saturday, July 27th from 9AM until the time of Memorial Mass at 10AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 33601 Detroit Rd., Avon. Rev. John Misenko, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
