I had the privilege of living next door to Momom about 12 years ago. I never met such a selfless and caring person. She would do anything for anyone. She took such great care of my two kids who fortunately had the privilege of being great friends of Marcus. She raised a beautiful young man, inside and out. I will truly miss her and thought of her often. You left behind many people who truly loved and adored you. You are in a bettter place with no more pain, how wonderful.

Evelyn, I have know you frome years ago when I met your daughter Norma on the bus, going to Midview, thur her I knew all your daughters. Betty and I became best friends are still close all these years later.. I am glad you are in no more pain and spending time with Norma now.. I will be down here for Betty so don't worry. Mommom its hard to believe you are gone .. But the one memory i well remember forver.. was when i told you i was pregnant with my oldest and that she was a girl. You were so excited. what even made you more excited was knowing that i was going to give her your middle name .. you had tears in your eyes as well as did i .. you said .. and i quote . that would be awesome and a honor for her to have my middle name .. then you asked what her middle name was going to be at that time i had no clue.. Boy oh boy this is hard to think of one memory as i shared sooo many wonderful ones with her. All the inspirational talks she has given me over the years always so caring and only wanting the best for whom ever she talked to. She sure did teach me to crochet at a young age. We had many birthdays and holidays spent together. She loved it when family got together. All the sleep overs i had and time spent with her watching over me day in and day out as a child. I love u momom and well miss you forever and someday well get together for another sleep over and paint nails. Mommom it still doesnt feel real to me that you have passed. We have been through a lot together over the past wonderful 24 years of our lives. Im so grateful for everything you have done for me my entire life. You raised me since I was two days old, when nobody else was capable of doing so. Growing up I learned so much from you. You taught me what was right from wrong. You taught me how to survive when life is at its hardest. It feels like yesterday when you sat me on your lap and told me to take the wheel. I wouldnt be where I am today without you holding my hand every step of the way. You always encouraged me to go after my goals until I crossed that finish line. Then when I crossed that finish line, you were always their to reward my efforts. Your kind and passionate personality is well known by everyone. Ill never forget the trouble you had went through to spoil me over the holidays. You were always bending over backwords for everyone, even when you didnt get anything in return. I could go on for years on how good of a person you were. Im really going to miss the knock on my door where you beared some sort of snack and said,"Here eat this". You were always trying to shove food down my throat, whether I was hungry or not. Im going to miss opening the bathroom door at two in the morning and you be standing outside it waiting to give me a heart attack. Im going to miss the smile on your face when I spoiled you with a box of chocolates with creme in the middle, york patties, flowers, and black jelly beans. Most of all mommom, im going to miss you. I will love and charish every single memory we had together. I will continue to be that warm and caring person you taught me to be.I will never stop making you proud. Im going to continue to be successful in life, so that I can take care of my love ones. I know your keeping a close eye on me mommom. I will not disappoiont you in any way, shape, or form. I know your worried about me, but I want you to know that I will be ok. I know your in a better place now where grandpa and mom welcomed you with open arms. Where to start with all the wonderful things this woman has done. She was incredibly kind to open her home to us when we had nowhere to go. She taught me to cook and to garden and to craft. She was a peacemaker and only thought of others. When someone was sad she felt it and tried in any way to make it better. You could talk to her about anything and she would listen. She treated me like one of her own and I will never forget her! We will miss you Mommom with all our heart and hope to see you someday! We love you!

No words can explain what a great women Evelyn Hunt "mommom" really was. There was a time in my life I had no where to live and she opened her home to me without question. You will forever be in my heart and one day we will meet again. This isn't good bye but.... I will see you later mommom. I love you more than you know. Thank you for all that you have done for me.

My mother went to heaven on Wednesday, November 21st, 2012. She was a very strong woman and fought cancer till the end. I am thankful she was my mother. I can only hope that I can be the person she was. She was a very caring, and thoughtful of all around her. Her love for children and dogs can not even begin to be matched. She taught me the love of gardening. I've always had flower beds, full of beautiful flowers. She taught me to be crafty, and appreciate the talents of crafters and artists. My parents taught me the love of traveling and camping. For that I am very thankful. She was my best friend, and I'm truely going to miss her...no one can replace the relationship she and I had. I know she is at peace now and no longer in pain....and for that I 'm so
