Evelyn Gross' Obituary
Evelyn H. Gross (Nee Dodd) age 80 of North Ridgeville passed away Friday, February 27, 2009 at Community Health Partners, Lorain following a brief illness. She was born June 12, 1928 in Cleveland and has resided in North Ridgeville since the mid 1960's. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville and she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and spending time with her family. Survivors include sons, Leon (Nancy) Gross of Clarkston, MI, Karl Gross of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Ronald Gross of North Ridgeville, daughter, Evonne Gross of North Ridgeville, grandson, Michael Gross, granddaughter, Melody Groves, great grandchildren, Samantha and Elijah and a half brother, Edward McCarty of West Salem. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, daughter, Suzanne, parents, Rose and Karl Dodd, brother, Kenneth Dodd and a sister, Jo Trombley. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Monday, March 2 in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Rdigeville. A prayer service will begin at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday in the funeral home followed by a 10 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
