Evelyn "Kay" Crigger's Obituary
Evelyn “Kay” Crigger (nee Browning), age 78, of Grafton passed away peacefully at her home Saturday September 27, 2025, following a long illness.
She was born in Holden, WV. She had resided in Grafton for the past 26 years after moving from Avon Lake.
Kay loved to do arts and crafts, baking, cooking, flower gardening, shopping and going to yard sales with her sisters. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Grafton.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Ray, daughters Denise (Bill) Schneider of Elyria, Lana Crigger of Grafton, 6 grandchildren, Josh (Heather), Courtney, Cody (Shana), Jake, Austin and Chelsea Pickett, 8 greatgrandchildren, brothers, Hubert Browning of Vermilion, twin brothers Terry and Jerry Browning of N. Ridgeville, sisters Bonnie Browning and Paula Litten, both of Tennessee and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Hurbert Browning, mother Bertie McMillen, sisters, Charlotte Butler, Marie Kitchen, Dorothy Lambert, Frances Browning, Jeannie Browning and brothers, Robert and Noah Browning.
Private services will be held at Bogner Family Funeral Home. A public graveside service will be held 2 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Her nephew Pastor Dennie Lambert Jr. will officiate.
Memorial contributions in Kay’s memory are suggested to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 12090 Durkee Rd, Grafton, OH 44044.
