Ervin Thompson's Obituary
Ervin K. "Keith" Thompson, age 59, of North Ridgeville, died Saturday, April 16, 2005 at EMH Regional Medical Center; following a long illness.
He was born in Charleston, WV. He had lived in North Ridgeville since 1991; having moved from Cleveland.
Mr. Thompson served in the United States Navy .
He worked as a slitter operator at USG Steel, Westlake for 24 years and retired in 2005.
He enjoyed Nascar races and fishing. He also was a member of the Elyria Moose.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Delores K. (Nee Williams) Thompson; son Ed Thompson, of Cleveland ; daughter, Crystal Thompson, of Columbus; 2 grandchildren, Emily Thompson and Chase Deel; his mother, Greta Wilkerson, of Charleston, WV; brothers, Charles Thompson, of Anderson, IN and Bob Thompson, of Teay's Valley, WV.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles V. Thompson.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 19, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
The family will also receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the Keller Funeral Home, 1236 Myers Street, Dunbar , WV; where services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday. The Reverend Chuck Goddard, pastor of Grace Church of the Nazarene, South Charleston, WV, will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery, Saint Albans, WV.
