Ernie R. McNeely's Obituary
Ernie R. McNeely, age 69, of North Olmsted, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Westbay Care Center in Westlake.
He was born in Hewett, West Virginia and had been a resident of Old Brooklyn for most of his life, recently moving to North Olmsted.
Mr. McNeely served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked as a plant manager for Cleveland Laminating for over 40 years.
He was a member of VFW Old Brooklyn Post and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Danville, West Virginia.
He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed restoring his 1969 Mustang.
Survivors include sons, Wesley (Diana) McNeely of Estero, Florida, Brett McNeely of North Olmsted; daughter, Crystal Stergar (Bill Truslow) of North Olmsted; 7 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Jean (Vic) Dotson of Jeffrey, West Virginia; brothers, Bob (Doris) McNeely of Franklin, North Carolina, Teddy (Donna) McNeely of Hewett, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (nee Brown); parents, Harold and Freda McNeely; sister, Faye Harsanyi; brothers, Junior and Russell McNeely.
Private burial will take place in Meadow Fork Cemetery, Hewitt, West Virginia.
