Ernest W. Banaska's Obituary
Ernest W. Banaska, age 57, of Astatula, Florida, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Florida Hospital Waterman.
He was born in Pontiac, MI and had been a resident of Astatula,, Florida since 1999 moving from North Ridgeville where he lived for 20 years.
Ernest served in the US Navy.
Ernest loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. He enjoyed working on his computer.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Clara Slenker; father, Frank Banaska of North Ridgeville; daughter, Krista Banaska of Columbus; sisters, Esther (David) Todd of Savannah, Tennessee, Grace Helms and Cathy Lance both of North Ridgeville, Ramona (Bob) Smith of Lorain; brothers, James (Connie) Banaska of Lagrange Twp., George Banaska of Lorain; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie in 2015.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Monday at 11:30AM in the funeral home. Rev. Jim Barta will officiate.
Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
