Emma Welch's Obituary
Emma A. Welch, 78, of Elyria and a former 60-year resident of North Ridgeville, died Sunday morning, August 26, 2012 at her home. She was born September 12, 1933 in Cleveland to the late August Bernard and Alice Elisabeth (nee Coles) Casper. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, David in 1994; daughter, Beverly Wagner; son, Gary Welch; and brothers, Earl and Bobby Casper.
Emma retired as a supervisor from Lewis Research Center after 33 years of employment. She was a member of Sugar Ridge Baptist Church, North Ridgeville.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Evelyn Kennedy of Elyria, Bill Welch, Linda Boisseau and Albert Welch, all of North Ridgeville; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence Casper, North Ridgeville and Joseph Casper, Tennessee; sister, Ruth Mansfield, Wadsworth; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012. Pastor Michael Manosky will officiate with burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Avon.
